Suzanne Robinson/Pataskala, OH - I draw most of my inspiration from what I observe in and around my home which is nestled in the woods of Pataskala, Ohio. It's a privilege to be able to express on canvas the peace and harmony conveyed in nature’s beautiful backdrop. My landscapes offer the onlooker an appreciation of the majesty of vistas that change from one season to the next. Crystal blue seascapes take me back to wonderful beach vacations shared with my family. One doesn’t have to go to the country or seaside to appreciate nature’s calming beauty since Robinson’s work aptly expresses the peace and harmony that can only be conveyed in nature’s back drop.

Colleen Scott/Columbus, OH - Being creative has brought me joy since I was a little girl. It wasn’t just fine art creativity either but also engaging, and competing, in the art of Irish dance for 25+ years. I embraced these distractions from real life and appreciated, then and now, how being creative took me out of my own head and into the magic of the present moment. I could not have imagined that one day the passion I feel for creating could be more than just a hobby or side hustle. Ever since I have embraced art as my path forward in life it has become not only what supports me financially but also energetically and spiritually. My creative path has never been linear. I went through many phases from drawing, colored pencils, markers, painting & printmaking to ceramics, sculpture, woodworking and many more. After graduating from Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) in 2009 I was unclear about which direction to put my time and talent toward. Today my collection of paintings vary from portraits of famous individuals, abstract and graffiti-inspired pieces, pet portraits and numerous meaningful commissions. I feel a strong connection to every piece I paint and the stories each conveys. I continue to be grateful for all of life’s blessings and burdens that inspire my passion for creating.
